Module 7 Assessment
Part A In your local community there have been several dog attacks on people in recent times, so bite prevention has become of utmost importance in your community.
You are hosting an aggression prevention workshop for your community. Six dogs will be present at a variety of ages including puppies.
Create a lesson plan focusing on exercises that will help to prevent aggression later in that dogs life. Your lesson plan has to be extremely detailed. Your puppy party will be 90 minutes long.
Part A 1
Aggression Prevention Lesson Plan  Provide a breakdown of your time table outlining the schedule for your session, with the duration of time, and name of each actuvuty.  With each activity create an extremely detailed lesson plan. You do not need to copy the table style used in manual 1, but you must address each of the headings.
Part A 2
Aggression Prevention Posters  Create a poster for each activity you cover. You have a 90 minute session so you should have 10 activities. Remember, some of the activities are educational chats while the dogs are relaxing.  Remember, your posters are focusing on aggression prevention, so explain how your poster will help prevent aggression. 
Part B Presentation skills Video A Welcome and Introduction
Set up a ‘class’ in the room. Each member of your class can be a stuffed animal / a chair / an object.
Welcome your class and introduce the workshop. Ensre that the camera can see you and your class so your presenting skills can be observed as well as your content.
You are presenting to your ‘class’, and not to the camera.
Video B
Choose one of the activities in your lesson plan and present it to your class. This can include demonstration, or be educational. You are presenting to your class.
Both videos should be shot in one go, so editing is not a necessity (unless you want to trip the beginning and the end). The video should be shot in one go. Both videos should be approximately 5 minutes. You are being marked on your ‘dog trainer’ skills, and every element of being a dog trainer, so channel your inner dog trainer.
