Your course

This detailed course will explore the complexities of canine communication, a subject often assumed to be straight forward, but far more detailed than once thought.

Through videos and virtual lectures you will learn how to understand subtle signalling that dogs will use to communicate to both humans and other dogs. This knowledge will allow you to listen to the dogs around you, whether your own dogs or while working with dogs professionally.

We will investigate dog to dog communication and develop your ability to safely interpret dog play – an absolutely essential skill if you wish to work with dogs professionally, whether in a dog walking, doggie daycare, or dog kenneling environment.

Finally, an often overlooked subject matter, we will educate you on how you can use your own body language to ‘talk back’ to the dogs you work with, and communicate with them in a manner they can understand.

This course is an absolute must for dog lovers who wish to excel in their interactions with all dogs.

It is carried out over 4 lessons. Once one is completed, click the button on the bottom of the page to move to the next lesson.  If you cannot click the button, make sure you have scrolled down enough to show the button.

Upon completion of this course you should hopefully have been bitten by the study bug!
