Ireland has a serious shortage of competent and qualified dog behaviour consultants, with only three certified dog behaviour consultants in Ireland currently, Maureen Byrne who is certified with ASAB, and Nanci Creedon – the tutor on this course – and Jill Hyslopp, both certified with IAABC.

Creedons College has designed the Professional Dog Behaviour Consultant course to cover all that you need to know to become a knowledgeable and confident dog behaviour consultant. This course also comes with the approval of IAABC as a accepted level of education to apply to the IAABC to become a certified dog behaviour consultant once you begin your career.

Pre-requirements for this course are

  • Successful completion of our Professional Dog Training Instructor course (or equivalent course – please contact us with details of your qualifications)
  • Minimum one year /200 hours of hands on professional experience working with dogs
  • Applications will be based on individual applications
